It's been so long...

OK, it has been a very long time since I "blogged" and believe me, I have been hearing about it. So, while I am a prisoner in my own home (I fell and broke my leg), I am resuming the blogging with gusto!

Stockings Were Hung...

I was in Pier 1 today looking for a wedding gift, and they have all of their Christmas decor out! I love it! I think Pier 1 always has the cutest holiday stuff, it is always the "fun colors". Not much red, not much green...but a lot of hot pink, lime green and teal. I also thought these stockings were so cute. It is my first Christmas in my new house, so I am excited to stock up on all the fancy decorations!!

Veteran's Day!

I am back from the cruise, and I can't even tell you how much fun we had. Well our alcohol bill was almost $700, if that tells you how much fun we had. Anyway, back to the grind today...but remember it is Veteran's Day (so Happy Veteran's Day to my dad and Grandpa Charlie!) I will be sure to get back in to blogging today!

My friend Aimee bought this book and let me read it. I was hooked. Ever since then I go and check out the blog at PostSecret.blogspot.com. Basically, people send anonymous post cards into this random man in Maine, and he piles them all together in books and a blog. Some are hilarious, some make you very sad and others make you think. So, if you get bored a lot (like I do), check it out.
